While they’re not bendable, LG has been refining its curved monitors for moments like CES 2025.

If you’ve ever wished your computer monitor could be a little flexible — going from flat for work to curved for gaming — and have a top-of-the-line resolution, LG has an answer.

In a press release today, LG announced several additions to its UltraGear gaming line, including the world’s first bendable gaming monitor with 5K2K resolution.

The GX9 series includes three new models, but the most eye-catching is the bendable 990A — winner of three CES 2025 Innovation Awards, including “Best of Innovation.” This isn’t the first bendable gaming monitor to exist — Corsair debuted the Xeneon Flex in 2022 — but it is the first with a 5120 x 2160 resolution.

LG says the 45-inch monitor can go from completely flat to a 900R curve in seconds. The 900R means that at its biggest curve, the monitor is equal to the outside of a circle with a 90-centimeter radius. Basically, it’ll make whatever you’re viewing on it much more immersive than the standard flat-screen.

Also new is the 950A, which LG calls “the World’s First 45-inch 5K2K OLED Gaming Monitor with 800R Curvature.” I know, I’m rolling my eyes just like you. This is a 45-inch curved monitor (800R) with 5K2K resolution, 125 PPI (pixels per inch), and RGWB subpixel layout, meaning gaming or productivity tasks are more readable and accurately visualized.

Both of these monitors have LG’s Dual Mode, which allows you to easily switch between resolution and refresh rate presets, plus customizable aspect ratios and picture sizes. Instead of choosing one side, you can move from graphically intense story-driven games to fast-paced action games and get the most out of your monitor from both.

Finally, the 39-inch 0SA makes its debut — an 800R smart curved monitor with both gaming and content streaming in mind. Instead of being purely an external monitor, this device runs on webOS, meaning you can access streaming services without a PC or set-top box alongside your regular gaming content.

LG added that all three of these monitors are certified for low blue light emissions and reduced eye strain during extended gaming sessions, plus an anti-glare and reflection coating that makes it easier to see your screen even in bright conditions.

The press release didn’t mention pricing, but LG’s 45-inch Flex, its previous bendable OLED, debuted at $2,999 in 2023. We’ll likely know more about these monitors at CES 2025, set for Jan. 7 to Jan 10.
